One of the awesome things about the Central Texas Amplify Day campaign is that you can give locally from the comfort of your own home. Simply visit www.caringplacetx.org/amplify, make a few more clicks, type in some numbers, and 'wah-lah" you have made a donation to impact your neighbors in need at The Caring Place! However, we know online giving is not for everyone. So, with this "kick-off" event, we encourage you to come in and meet us, chat with us, learn about our mission, shop in our thrift stores, have some cookies and then, GIVE! Rita and Jill will be in The Shops at The Caring Place taking credit card donations from our laptops. Don't forget we have matching funds available for this event making it the best time to give locally. All donations must be made online by March 6th at 6 p.m. For this kick-off event (Kicking off 24 hours of giving!), find us Thursday, March 5th at 2000 Railroad in The Shops at The Caring Place.
